Prestigious French Travel Guide Praises Crystal Lagoons Lagoon As One Of The Most Beautiful In The World
6 March, 2019 / NewsCrystal Lagoons® idyllic lagoons and landscapes continue to captivate the world. This time, France’s most important travel guide, Petit Futé, selected the lagoon at the San Alfonso del Mar complex as one of the most beautiful in the world. The list is composed of aquatic enclosures located from Hungary to Bali. The lagoon stands out for its originality, location and, above all, its beauty.
Located alongside the Pacific Ocean, the lagoon situated within the San Alfonso del Mar complex was chosen by the Petit Futé travel guide as one of the most beautiful in the world, and for several reasons. Amongst other, the guide highlights its size and explains that, when its construction was finished, it obtained the Guinness Record for being the world’s largest pool, a record the complex held for several years.
Another reason is given by the guide is the temperature of the crystalline waters which are maintained at 23° C, allowing for water activities such as windsurfing and kayaking, among others water sports. The temperature if the water is an important factor as the nearby Pacific Ocean, is renowned for it freezing waters and strong currents.
Finally, Petit Futé highlights Crystal Lagoons technology as it allows unlimited bodies of water to be maintained in crystal-clear condition, with little or no chemicals and just 2% of the energy compared to filtering systems used by conventional pools.
As other media have reported on other occasions, San Alfonso del Mar will continue to captivate visitors from different parts of the planet.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
