The Entrepreneur Walk of Fame, where Fernando Fischmann was the first awarded, recognizes new leaders

Emulating The Hollywood Walk of Fame, founder and CEO of Crystal Lagoons, Fernando Fischmann, was the first entrepreneur that was awarded a plaque in The Entrepreneur Walk of Fame Fernando Fischmann. With this initiative Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) Faculty of Economics and Business recognizes the people that have excelled for their valuable contribution to entrepreneurship and innovation in Chile.

UDD’s initiative included now other important business leaders such as Manuel, Nicolás and Felipe Ibañez, who joined the recognized innovator whose technology and concept have been awarded internationally.

The award to Fernando Fischmann inaugurated The Entrepreneur Walk of Fame which recognizes renowned national entrepreneurs. This distinction adds up to many others that Crystal Lagoons creator has already received, such as: Best Innovator (awarded by Avonni), Best Entrepreneur (awarded by Ernst & Young and El Mercurio) and Best Businessman. All these recognitions make him the only Chilean person who has received all three awards.

In addition to these recognitions Fernando Fischmann also received the distinction given by the Governor of Florida, Rick Scott, for his career as innovator and international business ambassador, triggered by the growing interest that the Chilean firm has arose among American authorities and real estate developers. Something similar happened with the prestigious Beacon Council award, organized by the Official Miami Dade County Economic Development Partnership, and that is awarded yearly.
