Ruler of Dubai Visits Crystal Lagoons Megaproject

Crystal Lagoons, the multinational innovation company that is disrupting the world’s markets in areas such as real estate, public spaces and industrial applications, continues setting trends
in the Middle East and recently one of its main megaprojects in the region was personally visited by the Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai and Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, visited the construction site of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum City – District One megaproject.
Sheikh Mohammed, who was accompanied by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, personally visited the construction of the megaproject that includes as its main amenity the first phase of what will be the world’s largest crystalline lagoon. The current first phase of the project already has a 1.4 hectare crystalline lagoon. Once the project is completely finished, before 2020, it will have a series of interconnected lagoons that will cover 40 hectares, almost four times larger than the current world’s largest lagoon.
Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City – District One is the first landmark project to be announced as part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City. This development is one of the residential communities with most demand in the region and one of the developments with a lower density of any international city. The project has luxury residences and offers a phenomenal array of features and activities including parks, artificial beaches, water sports and even a world class equestrian club with riding trails. The development will also have a promenade with an ample offer of stores, restaurants, cafés, lively bistros and entertainment options.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
