11 December, 2023 / News

The opening of the Crystal Lagoons project in Florida, Evermore Orlando Resort, on January 1, 2024, marks a milestone in the state. The monumental crystalline lagoon spanning over 3 hectares, developed with Crystal Lagoons® technology, fulfills the dream of enjoying beach life in the most visited destination in the United States, which until now was not possible.

Located steps away from the globally renowned Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort theme parks, and close to Orlando International Airport, the luxury project opens its doors showcasing the city’s first crystalline lagoon. The world press has hailed it as a tropical beach paradise.

This unique amenity, along with the first Conrad Hotel (a luxury brand of the Hilton chain), an exclusive offering of villas and apartments, and two 18-hole golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, make Evermore Orlando Resort one of the largest tourism projects in Florida. It is changing the paradigm of vacation developments with world-class hotel and resort standards. More than 10,000 rooms will surround the monumental crystalline lagoon.

“Crystal Lagoons® amenity will bring a piece of the Caribbean to this iconic landlocked city, allowing visitors to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience in a tropical oasis with turquoise waters and white sand beaches,” explains Ivan Manzur, Senior Vice President of Sales of Crystal Lagoons US Corp.

Since entering the U.S., Florida has been one of the most dynamic markets for the multinational’s crystalline lagoon projects, with more than 51 in different stages of development. Notable projects include Epperson, Sole Mia, Southshore Bay, Mirada, Aqua, Emerald Lakes, Ridgewood, Lake Susy, Tamiami, and Haines City, among others. The first development was Epperson which from the outset was a commercial success. Every year it leads the rankings of the best-selling real estate developments in Tampa and the U.S. When part of the complex’s artificial lagoon opened to the general public, it triggered a wave of ticket sales worth US$50,000 daily with up to 1,200 visitors daily. Tickets began selling out weeks in advance.
