The Mexican travel website “El Souvenir” has written about different Crystal Lagoons® developments, highlighting them as some of world’s greatest lagoons. Amongst those included in the list are the Mahasamutr tourist complex in Thailand and the lagoon in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, which currently holds a Guinness World Record for being the world’s largest man-made crystalline lagoon. Additionally, it also informs of the firm’s projects in Mexico and Spain.

Crystal Lagoons partners with real estate and recreational developers from the public and private sectors around the world, and licenses its technology by delivering an innovative concept. Patented worldwide, its unique technology allows to build and maintain crystalline lagoons of large sizes anywhere in the world and at very low costs, using a minimum of additives and energy.

On the other hand, it fully complies with the most stringent international physicochemical and microbiological water quality standards. At the same time, lagoons powered by Crystal Lagoons technology consume up to 30 times less water than a golf course and 50% less than a park of the same size.

The following is a list of lagoons highlighted by “The Souvenir”:

Sharm El Sheik, Egypt

The pyramids are no longer the only excuse to visit Egypt. Now, you can add to your wish list the world’s largest man-made crystalline lagoon located in the middle of the desert. Totaling over 30 acres, it anchors the Citystars Resort, in the city of Sharm El Sheikh.

Thanks to this monumental body of crystalline water, Crystal Lagoons won its second Guinness World Record for its huge dimensions.

Alcazaba Lagoon, Spain

Costa del Sol is one of European tourist’s favorite destinations. In the municipality of Casares, Alcazaba Lagoon is located within a dream space to practice non-motorized water sports such as kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, windsurfing or kitesurfing. Once construction is completed, the project will house 450 apartments that will have direct access to a private beach and impressive views of the water.

Diamante Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

The resort complex hosting one of the world’s best golf courses, according to Golf Magazine, offers a stunning lagoon with crystalline waters where visitors can sunbathe, enjoy water activities or simply relax your eyes appreciating its 40,000 square meters. Ideal for families, particularly for its exclusivity, its surroundings will make any guest feel as if they were in their own backyard.

Mahasamutr, Thailand

The tourist complex, Mahasamutr, is “the most exotic crystalline water lagoon”. Its tropical environment and the villas that surround it, are the ideal surroundings to this immense 17-acre body of water. Although visitors are often seen taking photographs of the scenery, most simply cannot resist taking prolonged and relaxing baths in the lagoons pure turquoise waters.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
