World famous Entrepreneur.com has featured Crystal Lagoons® projects in Egypt, highlighting them as developments worth investing in.
With more than 20 real estate projects, Egypt is the firm’s most important market on the African continent, and hosts the world’s largest crystalline lagoon (30 acres) in the resort of Sharm El Sheikh. Other high profile developments such as Bo Island, Swan Lake and Porto Golf are expected to open soon.
The Entrepreneur.com article, however, names two upcoming projects known as Il Monte Galala and Fouka Bay. The former is anchored by the world’s first mountain-top swimmable crystalline lagoon, six hotels, as well as a world class spa, among other amenities.
Meanwhile, Fouka Bay offers an island life set-up with a swimmable crystalline lagoon and 7km of coastline, with numerous entertainment options and four hotels.
Ongoing negotiations
Crystal Lagoons is expected to expand its ground-breaking Public Access Lagoons™ concept in several nations in the region, and is in advanced negotiations to close licensing agreements in Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Angola, among other countries.
In Morocco, the firm is negotiating a regional master agreement with a local operator, to develop 9 PAL™ in Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Fez and Saidia.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
