U.S. outlets report on Crystal Lagoons attempts at renovating retail and university spaces in Texas

Business Journal has recently reported on Crystal Lagoons® plans at renovating retail and university spaces in Texas.

With Houston’s first clrear water lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons on track for a summer debut at the northeast Houston community Balmoral, the company expects to see demand for at least 50 projects across Texas, with a third of these in and around Houston.

Kevin Morgan, Executive Vice President of Crystal Lagoons US Corp., said Texas “will be the largest market in the country” within the next three to five years. Morgan opened a Crystal Lagoons office in Dallas in 2017.

“The largest split will be between Houston and Dallas,” Morgan said.

Moving forward, Morgan expects to see manmade lagoons powered by Crystal Lagoons pop up in more master-planned communities such as Balmoral, in universities or alongside retail spaces such as a shopping mall with a distressed anchor store where there could be a new restaurant concept within the mall and the lagoon could take up existing parking space outside. While he wouldn’t specify where, Morgan said the company is close to executing deals for retail and university spaces in Florida and Texas.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
