The world-renowned UK-based newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, has recently published an article praising Crystal Lagoons’ first project in Chile – San Alfonso del Mar – as one of the main reasons to visit South America.

San Alfonso del Mar is a tourist and real-estate project located in seaside Algarrobo, Chile. The coastal resort features the first and one of the largest crystal-clear lagoons in the world. San Alfonso del Mar’s crystal-clear lagoon was developed under Crystal Lagoons’ concept and technology. It quickly triggered a revolution in the worlds of first and second housing real estate internationally. In fact, San Alfonso del Mar is the iconic project paved the way for Crystal Lagoons’ consolidation process. The company currently boasts over 300 developments in 60 countries.

The 8-hectare crystal-clear lagoon is surrounded by wide white sand beaches. The navigable lagoon is perfect for water sports, such as kayaking, windsurfing, among others, thus offering recreational and sports alternatives in a very safe environment.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
