Texas’ Upcoming World Class Crystal Lagoons Amenities26 February, 2020 / News
Crystal Lagoons®, American multinational water innovation company, has recently announced that it has no less than seven projects in the pipeline for 2020 in the U.S. market alone, and the state of Texas is currently leading in number of upcoming and already operational paradise-like lagoons powered by Crystal Lagoons patented technology.
In 2018, leading Houston-based, real estate developer, Land Tejas, inaugurated its first 2-acre lagoon in Humble, known as Balmoral, and is set to complete phase one of its second amenity this year. A 12-acre lagoon in Texas City’s, Lago Mar, consists of a 70-acre resort-style compound that will include a hotel, waterfront boardwalk promenade, 250,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space as well as condos and townhomes.
Another upcoming project is the lagoon at Sierra Vista, part of a 29-acre amenity village, located in Rosharon along the Highway 288 corridor. It too is a joint development with Land Tejas, and has been recently been covered by the Houston Chronicle.
The article states that the Sierra Vista development is the real estate developer’s third lagoon in the state, and the fourth for the American multinational water innovation company.
Sierra Vista’s 4-acre pure turquoise lagoon will be surrounded by various white sand beaches, a splash pad, kids cove as well as paddleboard and kayak options. Plans for a “celebration lawn,” restaurant, grotto and music performance stage are also in the works. The lagoon will employ environmentally friendly technology that helps maintain turquoise, crystalline waters with almost 100% fewer chemicals and just 2% of the energy required by a traditional pool. Crystal Lagoons state-of-the-art technology, created by biochemist Fernando Fischmann, is patented in 190 countries worldwide, making it the only firm capable of creating and maintaining crystalline lagoons of unlimited size.
The lagoon and adjacent beach areas have been described as a luxurious beach destination and will bring a piece of the ocean and beach life to residents’ doorstep. Construction at Sierra Vista will begin in early 2020 with an opening date planned for 2021.
Texas is also home to Windsong Ranch, a separate development also anchored by what is known as the world’s top amenity, which was inaugurated in 2019.
Crystal Lagoons is an American, Miami-based innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
