Public Access Lagoons with Entry Tickets: The New Crystal Lagoons Revolution

26 March, 2018 / Crystal Lagoons, News

The specialized magazine Metros Cuadrados highlighted that following the revolution as “World’s Top Amenity”, developing nearly 600 projects worldwide, Crystal Lagoons®, the multinational water-innovation company, is on course to conquer the five continents with its brand new patented revolution: Public Access Lagoons (PAL) that provide public access to these amenities on paying an entry ticket.

This dream-world concept, up until now exclusively reserved for private projects, will now be within reach of the general public. PALs will generate revenue from underdeveloped urban land sites, due to their social value and their motivation of a healthy lifestyle and the practice of sports, with 40 projects taking off in Europe, the U.S., Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America. “Public Access Lagoons change the lifestyle of residents of cities. They will make it easy to enjoy a beach lifestyle and water sports on a daily basis, making these activities as familiar as going to the gym,” Francisco Matte, Crystal Lagoons Regional Director for Europe points out.

PALs will be located in stadia, shopping malls, public parks, amusement parks, golf courses, race courses, university campuses and zoos, to mention a few. They will bring together cultural activities, restaurants, event centers, and exciting activities–becoming the true meeting point of the 21st century. In industries such as retail – currently facing a deep crisis due to the increase in e-commerce – PALs have already conquered some of the main shopping mall chains in the U.S. and the Middle East, due to their appeal and ability to attract the general public.

International expansion

Projects abroad are growing exponentially. Europe’s first PAL has already been announced in Spain, not far from Madrid, making the long-time dream of having a beach lifestyle close to home come true for local residents of Madrid. In Turkey, South Korea, Australia, and Chile, PALs are already part of urban renovation projects. In Thailand and Nigeria they have also boosted tourism.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
