Public Access Lagoons Revitalize the Tourism Industry

3 August, 2018 / Crystal Lagoons, News

A new trend in recreation is currently revitalizing the tourism industry worldwide thanks to Crystal Lagoons® Public Access Lagoons (PAL).

The Public Access Lagoons by the multinational innovation company, up until now exclusively reserved for private projects, now allow the access to an idyllic beach-like lifestyle to anyone after paying an entry ticket.

PAL are democratizing recreation spaces by opening themselves to the public and generating revenue from underdeveloped urban land sites, due to their social value and their motivation towards a healthy lifestyle and the practice of sports, with 40 projects taking off in Europe, the U.S., Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America. The multinational company’s business plan considers 1,000 PAL developments in the US alone.

Projects abroad are growing exponentially. Europe’s first PAL has already been announced in Spain, not far from Madrid, making the long-time dream of having a beach lifestyle close to home come true for local residents of Madrid. In Turkey, South Korea, Australia, and Chile, PALs are already part of urban renovation projects. In Thailand and Nigeria they have also boosted tourism.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
