London Business School Honours Crystal Lagoons for its Outstanding Work in Innovation

The London Business School, Europe’s most important business school and one of the most important ones worldwide, has praised Crystal Lagoons – multinational water-innovation company anchored to crystal clear lagoons – as one of the most outstanding innovation technologies around the globe. The award, organized by the London-based University in partnership with the Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and British Magazine Management Today, honors the work the company has undergone in the field of innovation.

The jury of the Real Innovation Awards consisted of relevant innovation, business, and academic leaders. The awards ceremony took place at the London Business School, event that counted with several British public and private sector notable figures in attendance.

It is worth mentioning that Crystal Lagoons has been selected out of hundreds of companies from over 50 countries. What is even more outstanding is that there is no application process for these awards. Instead, British citizens are the ones who directly nominate the innovations they deemed worthy based on their global impact.

Crystal Lagoons’ technology has had a disruptive effect on real estate markets, boasting over 400 projects – in different development stages – in 60 countries worldwide. The innovation firm has developed a wide variety of proprietary technologies – with over 1,500 patents in 160 countries – that have dramatically changed the lifestyle of people around the world. Nowadays, Crystal Lagoons has focused efforts on solving some of the greatest challenges faced by humankind, such as water and energy scarcity.

This latest recognition adds up to the long list of the awards won by Crystal Lagoons in recent years. Among them, The Stevie® Award – the so called Oscar of the business world – for the company’s contribution to the environment through its sustainable cooling technology; The Best New Business Award and the Keys to Miami, both in the U.S.; The innovation Award; The National Environmental Award; The Best Real Estate Reputation Award; and two World Guinness Records for projects in Egypt and Chile, to mention a few.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
