Crystal Lagoons brings a unique beach experience to Johannesburg

Munyaka, near Johannesburg in the Midrand region, is Crystal Lagoons’ flagship project in South Africa. This award-winning complex, developed with Balwin Properties, has become an unprecedented commercial success since its launch. In just four days, 550 apartments were sold, a similar record to The Blyde, another Balwin development with Crystal Lagoons, located in Pretoria.

Even the President of the Republic has praised the project for its urban contribution. “Munyaka will bring South Africa to life and boost its economy. This is a magical place. Looking at the lagoon and the outdoor spaces, I think this is the way to build great communities,” said Cyril Ramaphosa.

Due to its spectacular nature, this ultra-luxury residential complex has been highlighted by the press on countless occasions and has been defined as “Johannesburg’s first beach”. Today, it is once again attracting the attention of the media, such as Business Tech, this time due to its upcoming inauguration.

The media highlights that the monumental crystalline lagoon of turquoise waters and white sands, will become the largest in the country, covering an area of approximately seven rugby fields and providing a new Johannesburg beach experience.
