International press celebrates new Crystal Lagoons’ project for Europe

29 January, 2018 / News

In Spain, Crystal Lagoons will open its second project within the continent and the first one with public access. Alovera Beach is an aquatic park located just 40 minutes from Madrid.

The project will open all year round and it is expected that it will receive half million visits yearly, with the goal of boosting tourism in the area. Alovera will feature a 2.5-hectare manmade lagoon of turquoise waters as main attraction, surrounded by 1.5 hectares of white sandy beaches, to which everybody will get access after paying an entrance ticket.

Crystal Lagoons’ public access projects are disrupting the leisure market, boosting a new generation of amenities of higher standards for public space. These manmade lagoons are being installed all over the world, in places such as public parks, bringing a true holiday destination to people’s doorsteps.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
