Fernando Fischmann Meets with Entrepreneurs3 June, 2014 / News
A group of entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley met with Fernando Fischmann, founder of Crystal Lagoons and an AmCham director, at the San Alfonso del Mar resort in the Chilean coastal city of Algarrobo in April.
The entrepreneurs, including the founder of MySpace, Uri Levine, and the president of Waze, Justin Waldron, flew by helicopter from Santiago after requesting a meeting with Fischmann. They were in Chile to participate in the MeetLatam 2013 entrpreneurship forum, which took place on April 26-27 at the University of San Sebastián.
The visitors got a tour of the resort, which was Crystal Lagoons’ first project in Chile, including its iconic crystalline lagoon. Founded in 2007, Crystal Lagoons has over 220 projects in development in 50 countries.
Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, that has developed and patented technology that allows for the low-cost construction and maintenance of unlimited size bodies of water in crystal-clear condition.
