In a recent interview, American Builders Quarterly spoke to Vice President at Crystal Lagoons U.S. Corp.®, Eric Cherasia, about his passion for environmentally conscious design and how the multinational innovation company is revolutionizing the lives of millions of people worldwide.

White sand beaches, palm trees and resort destinations worldwide, Crystal Lagoons® has developed man-made lagoons to anchor staycation-worthy destinations, thanks to its groundbreaking sustainable technology.

The U.S. company licenses cutting-edge water treatment technology to developers so as to implement a sustainable ecosystem for projects by bringing beachlife year-round.

In fact, the company is involved in over 1,000 projects in 5 continents, 220 of which are in various stages of development across the U.S.

Cherasia is spearheading the partnership with Epic Venue Development, which will allow more such projects to become a reality through a master licensing opportunity.

The first project will be in Glendale, Arizona.

Always innovating

Crystal Lagoons offers eco-friendly technology that uses less than 1 percent of the chemicals and 2 percent of the energy required by traditional swimming pool filtration systems.

Another advantage is that it is always investing into research and development to improve and expand, and has a growing portfolio of over 2,000 patents in over 190 countries.

For example, Crystal Lagoons recently introduced its new Hot Reef technology that can be used year-round, even in cold weather climates.

“I think that’s just an example of what’s very remarkable about the company,” Cherasia says.

“The ability to innovate—to be able to look at an issue, to put resources back into the development of improving and expanding the technology.”

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
