Crystal Lagoons will be distinguished by its sustainable cooling technology in The House of Commons23 September, 2016 / News
In the iconic Westminster Palace, main office of United Kingdom’s Houses of Parliament, Crystal Lagoons will receive in the following weeks a new award. The prize recognizes the sustainable impact of its cooling technology for industrial processes.
It is precisely the Green Apple Award, one of the world’s most important environmental recognitions, sponsored by British high reputation environmental organizations, such as United Kingdom’s environment agency (EA), British Ecology Building Society, and other environmental health and patrimonial conservation entities.
The award acknowledges the significant contribution for the planet’s ecology of this ecological cooling technology in closed circuit for industrial processes, which avoids impacting natural ecosystems.
Green Apple’s awarding ceremony will take place on November 11th, at the Houses of Parliament, and Crystal Lagoons technology was chosen among more than 500 postulations. In previous years, the selected companies were Volkswagen, Canon, Alstom, Shell, Toshiba, among others.
Crystal Lagoons technology was patented by United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), through the fast track program for Green Technologies.
This new prize is added to multiple awards received by the multinational, which currently has 15 offices around the world and sums up a large portfolio of 400 projects in different stages of development.
Between the most recent awards earned by Crystal Lagoons, highlights the world’s business Oscar “The Stevie® Award” as the year’s innovator and also the year’s innovation, “The Best New Bussines” in United States, “2016 best entrepreneur” given by Chilean company’s rational administration institute (ICARE), Miami’s keys, “Innovation prize”, National environmental award, best developer reputation and two world’s Guinness records for its lagoons in Egypt and Chile, and some others.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
