Crystal Lagoons Strengthens its Association with Nakheel in the Middle East with Three New Landmark Projects in Dubai

Crystal Lagoons continues to expand in the United Arab Emirates. Recently, new contracts were announced with Dubai-based world-leading master developer Nakheel.

These new agreements form part of the government’s broader Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan for the Mohammed Bin Rashid City – District One area, already renowned for its 60-hectare crystalline lagoon.

This new wave of construction comes in response to the soaring population growth that Dubai has experienced in recent years due to the city’s unprecedented economic growth.

These contracts will add three new real estate projects and thousands of residential units that will transform the urban landscape of this area within the city by adding 26 more hectares of crystalline lagoon.

“Developing three projects in parallel in partnership with Nakheel is a milestone that validates our technology’s uniqueness and the crystalline lagoons’ added value. It also shows that the Crystal Lagoons® concept and technology can bring idyllic beaches anywhere and create unique opportunities,” said Miguel Ángel Cabañas, Regional Director of Crystal Lagoons.
