Crystal Lagoons® Solé Mia Takes Gold at Novum Design Awards 2020

Crystal Lagoons® Solé Mia development in Miami has once again received a prestigious award. Having been honored by the World Design Awards 2020, winning in the Landscape Design category in July, the 7-acre crystalline amenity has now taken Gold at the Novum Design Award Winner 2020 in Urban Planning and Landscape Design category.

The first amenity-rich development completed at one of South Florida’smostambitious projects, Solé Mia is anchored by a 7-acre Crystal Lagoons amenity, having been thoughtfully developed by the water innovation firm and two of the country’s most successful real estate family dynasties, the LeFraks of New York and the Soffers of South Florida. 

The 184-acre master-planned community will eventually be a live, work, play paradise with more than 4,000 residential units and 1.5 million square feet of commercial space.

The Shoreline at Solé Mia is not only raising the neighborhood market value but the luxury amenity standards by housing arguably one of the most unprecedented amenities in a rental community with South Florida’s first man-made lagoon, Laguna Solé, an eye-popping, swimmable Caribbean-blue body of fresh water that spans seven acres, including sandy beach areas and its own little island.

The city-within-a-city will eventually be anchored around the impressive engineering feat, bringing waterfront living to a part of Miami that’s not technically on the water. The amenity crown-jewel is the size of 21 Olympic-sized pools and provides the Shoreline residents with sandy beaches and a waterfront location where they can swim, paddleboard, kayak or float on luxury loungers. 

Pegged as a “neighborhood gamechanger” by the Miami Herald, the Shoreline’s success is record-breaking. Within three months of launching in January 2019, the first tower completely leased up, leading to the opening of the second tower. LeFrak confirmed the Shoreline is the fastest and most successful rental lease up in the company’s 100-year history of real estate development. 

The Shoreline at Solé Mia’s extensive amenity programs includes a variety of wellness and entertainment spaces. In addition to the lagoon, wellness amenities include an elevated pool deck and spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center with Peloton bikes, a weight-training room, a yoga studio with Fitness on Demand, a 24/7 virtual workout-program platform and extensive outdoor fitness trails. It also hosts an array of top of the range indoor and outdoor entertainment amenities.  

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
