Global Construction Review, one of the most important real estate media in the U.K. highlighted the crystalline lagoon at the Prince Sultan Cultural Centre (PSCC) which is being developed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The publication underlines that the 10-hectare lagoon developed with Crystal Lagoons’ concept and technology will be the central feature of the 240-hectare complex.

PSCC, at northern Jeddah, coastal Red Sea city, is the second Crystal Lagoons’ project being developed in Saudi Arabia. With this project the company consolidates its presence in the Middle East market with complexes at Dubai, Jordan, Egypt, Oman, among others.

“This will be the greatest crystalline lagoon of its kind in the Kingdom and it will also represent another milestone in the Crystal Lagoons’ efforts to expand its presence in the Middle East. This project also has a special importance for the country, since it is being built up in honor to the last heir prince, Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and our partnership with PSSC give us the unique chance to contribute with our experience to a world class project at the heart of a new cultural icon for the region”, said Crystal Lagoons’ CEO, Kevin P. Morgan.

“The mega project will include a medical city, the first Jack Nickaus nine holes golf course, a cultural centre, educational facilities, luxury hotels with more than 750 rooms, and a “city within city” with 3.600 flats, villas and condos. To sum total, the development provides housing for about 15.000 people.

“The potential of Saudi Arabia’s real estate sector makes it one of the most exciting markets in the region right now, and arguably one of the most important. This particular project demonstrates the fluid adaptability of our concept and technology to even the most demanding environment,” remarked Morgan.
