5 January, 2015 / News

With its 3-hectare crystalline lagoon the Lagoon Pilar project, in the Buenos Aires outskirts, has become in a total success. The development provides an idyllic beach like environment such as the ones at the Caribbean and a extremely high quality of life but without losing the benefits of the great city: Shopping areas, cinemas, school, supermarket, banks and commercial centers.

“We think that Lagoon Pilar is a unique and different project. Its main attraction: a 3-hectare crystalline water lagoon where people of all ages can practice water sports surrounded by palm trees beaches and docks. Lagoon Pilar offers an ideal environment for the families that enjoy beach lifestyle and a unique opportunity for investment at just 30 minutes from Capital Federal”, states  Mariano Galeazza, Operations Manager at Grupo Monarca, the project’s developer company partnered with Crystal Lagoons.

The complex has a total area of 27 hectares and more than 800 units will surround the manmade lagoon which will be the main feature of the project.

According to Galaezza, the lagoon at Lagoon Pilar applies a technology that allows creating big crystalline water spaces. This system has been patented in more than 160 countries and it has more than 300 projects in different development stages in more than 60 countries such ar the US, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Thailand, and Latin-American, among others.

“This technology uses environmentally friendly and low maintenance cost methods. The lagoon will use up to 10 times less water than a golf course, being a unique and sustainable amenity for its rational usage of resources such as water and energy. The technology has been certified for its sustainability as “Green Technology” by “Chile Verde”, initiative backed by the Chilean government and UNESCO”, the executive adds.

With this project, Crystal Lagoons sums 4 developments in Argentina: “Terralagos”, “Remeros Beach” and “Acquavista”, to which new projects that the company foresees to execute in other cities such as Rosario and Mar del Plata will join.
