Crystal Lagoons keeps growing in the U.S. with new projects for Houston

30 July, 2015 / News

Crystal Lagoons’ expansion in the U.S. does not stop. The renowned construction and real estate web site Builder.com has recently reported on Crystal Lagoons’ latest plans for new projects in Houston area.

Builder.com reports that the Miami-based innovation company, Crystal Lagoons Corp. has recently announced plans to expand into Houston, keeping promising negotiations with two local developers.

“We’ve had tremendous interest from developers in Houston,” Uri Man, Crystal Lagoons’ CEO said. “We’re interested in Texas. It’s a stable economy, one of the largest in the U.S with a tremendous amount of growth. It’s also got a lot of land that is undeveloped and landlocked and we feel lagoons can add value to real estate.”

These massive lagoons just need water to compensate evaporation, representing half the water consumption of a park and up to 30 times less of a traditional golf field. In addition, they use up to 100 les chemicals than traditional disinfection systems of drinking water and pools, and pup to 2% of the energy conventional filtration systems require.

The first lagoon at the San Alfonso del Mar on Chile’s Pacific Coast won the Guinness Book of World Record in 2007 for the world’s largest lagoon. It is 3,300 feet long.

Nowadays, the company is developing massive lagoons at the Sharm El Sheik resort in Egypt and the Dream City development in Prune India. It has already built large lagoons and pools at a Dead Sea resort in Jordan as well as resorts and developments in Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand, Peru, Saudi Arabia and Brazil.

Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
