Crystal Lagoons is revolutionizing the hotel industry
4 December, 2023 / News“Every hotel project incorporating a Crystal Lagoons amenity becomes the most attractive destination in the area. These bodies of water change the paradigm of vacation developments with world-class hotel and resort standards”, explains Iván Manzur, Senior Vice President of Sales at Crystal Lagoons US Corp.
The multinational innovation company, after transforming the real estate industry and the urban entertainment landscape with its innovative Public Access Lagoons™ projects, is currently sparking a new revolution, this time in the hotel sector. Recognizing the transformative value of Crystal Lagoons® technology, prominent hotel chains worldwide, such as Marriott, Radisson, Conrad, Hyatt Regency, and AVA Resort, have incorporated this amenity as a central element in their projects.
The multinational water innovation company already has developments of this kind, in which crystalline lagoons are the differentiating factor in the United States, Mexico, Indonesia, Romania, and Uruguay, among other countries.
In the United States, the most recent operation is the agreement of Crystal Lagoons with the iconic Hyatt hotel brand for a lagoon at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas. The latest opening is Evermore Orlando Resort, which includes a luxury Conrad hotel in the country’s most visited tourist destination. It has all the attractions but lacks a beach. It is a mega-project, steps away from Disney World and Universal.
In Southeast Asia, in Indonesia, the Marriott chain added a five-star glamping to the Treasure Bay Bintan resort, which has the largest lagoon in that part of the world. The 6.3 hectares of crystalline water have become this tourist destination’s main attraction, drawing the hotel chain’s attention.
In Europe, in Romania, the Radisson Lagoon Hotel Bucharest is being developed with a Crystal Lagoons amenity as part of the Central District Lagoon City project. Guests will enjoy 1,100 m2 of exclusive white sand beach, swimming, and water sports in the lagoon, and shops, restaurants, and recreational and entertainment activities will also be located around the lagoon.
In Mexico, the multinational has crystalline lagoon projects with hotels in Cabo San Lucas and Cancun. In Cancun, the hotel chain is AVA. Crystal Lagoons is at the Solanas resort in Uruguay, developed in partnership with Grupo Solanas, an important tourism and hotel holding in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay.
“The crystalline lagoons achieve unprecedented results, such as bringing a beach lifestyle to Orlando—an entertainment option it didn’t have—or, counterintuitively, replacing the sea in iconic tourist destinations like Cancun,” emphasizes Jean Pierre Juanchich, Global Business Director of Crystal Lagoons.
