The prestigious Latin American newspaper “La Tercera” has recently reported on Crystal Lagoons growing expansion in Brazil, one of the regions’ main markets.

The company’s first crystal clear navigable lagoon project in Brazil has an extension of 2,1 hectares and it is surrounded by four wide breaches. Placed at Cuiabá city, “Brazil Beach Cuiabá Home & Resort” considers 1.308 homes, among houses and apartment units with a total investment of US$350 million.

From the real state point of view, “and regardless of the economical constrains, Brazil keeps being a big and promising market in which Crystal Lagoons bet with the “Brazil Beach Cuiabá Home&Resort” project  located in Cuiaba city and that was recently launched a couple of months ago”, states Francisco Matte, Crystal Lagoons commercial director. This project joins other 15 other projects in different development stages that are being worked “in partnership with that country’s main real estate firms”, throughout states such as Brasilia, Río de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Fortaleza and Belo Horizonte, among others.

Matte underlines that Crystal Lagoons’ business model –in which the company becomes partner of the real estate developers, providing the company’s concept and technology in exchange for a share of the sales – has allowed the company to minimize the risks. “Apart from that, there are also signs that indicate that the Brazilian real estate market will show better perspectives in the future”, he assures. The Commercial Director tells that in the months to come the company will open a commercial office branch in Sao Paulo, “which shows the great potential that market represent for Crystal Lagoons”.

Cuiabá is the first of three projects that the innovation multinational is planning to carry out in that country in partnership with BC Genera. A second housing project will be located in Estado Mato Grosso do Sul and it will have 7.000 homes, while a third one will be located in Brasilia and considers 1.350 residential units and a navigable crystal clear lagoon where people will be able to practice water sports such as kayaking.

Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
