Crystal Lagoons’ first U.S. project ahead of the curve in terms of real estate technology

31 July, 2017 / News

Crystal Lagoons’ first U.S. project being developed in North Tampa, Florida, will be one of the most technologically advance communities in the country, featuring the world top amenity at its core, but also the first super-fast internet community.

The 7.5-acre crystal clear lagoon will be the centerpiece amenity to more than 1,000 new homes as part of the Epperson community in Wesley Chapel, Florida.  The lagoon will be surrounded by shores of resort-style fun and tropical relaxation complete with a water slide, a dock for kayaking, paddle-boarding and small sailboats.

The first Crystal Lagoon in the U.S. will be part of what’s been named the first “Smart Gigabit Community” in the United States to be built from the ground up. The “Connected City” is ignited by the fastest internet and WiFi speeds in the nation using its proprietary ULTRAFi technology. This level of connectivity creates new opportunities for Pasco County, such as roadways specifically for autonomous vehicles, an enviable model for top education, advanced healthcare centers, WiFi Parks and much more. Upon completion, the community will have around 37,000 homes and over 12 million square feet of commercial space, including office, retail, light industrial, and state-of-the-art education, medical and technology facilities. The plan for The Connected City spans 50 years, with the first homes expected to be complete in fall 2017.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
