Crystal Lagoons®, linked to biochemist Fernando Fischmann, continues to expand across the globe. This time the multinational entered Pakistan, highlighted in a publication by the Chilean newspaper, El Mercurio. With one of the world’s largest populations, Pakistan is where the company signed a master agreement to develop 15 Public Access Lagoons™, known as PAL™, which can be accessed via ticketed entry.

Crystal Lagoons has partnered with Ary Group, the country’s main business holding, with a presence in the Middle East, Europe and North America, linked to banks, real estate, 12 TV channels that broadcast in more than 100 countries, gold production, retail, jewelry, among other businesses. The holding’s owner, Salman Iqbal, is considered one of the most influential Muslims on the planet.

The master agreement is to develop PAL in Pakistan’s main cities, among which Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi, among others.

Once operational, the initiatives will generate projected annual sales of more than US$ 550 million.

PAL transform any location into the most entertaining place in the city, significantly enhance the urban environment and create beach life steps away from their homes. These projects will change the urban life of millions of Pakistani people,” explains Felipe Baldwin, Global Business Director at Crystal Lagoons. The lagoons will be linked to residential first-home and commercial developments, with master plans ranging from 120 acres to 1200 acres.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
