Costa del Sol, second house luxury project that will be the most ambitious in the Ecuadorian coast during the next 10 years, and Kirabo, real estate development focused on first and second residences, located at less than one hour from Guayaquil, are the two projects that Crystal Lagoons will use to set its entrance into the Ecuadorian market.

Located in the emblematic Ruta del Sol, in Ayangue, Casa del Sol is placed on an about 26-hectare site land and is aimed at the higher Ecuadorian classes.  The project considers courts for the practice of different sports, a beach club with a restaurant, gym, parks and green areas, among other attractive features. The about 2.2-hectare crystalline lagoon designed by Crystal Lagoons will be a place where it will be possible to practice any kind of water activity in the middle of crystalline waters and white sand beaches and it will represent a great architectonic and urban step forward for Ruta del Sol and the country.

This amenity will provide the residents a recreational option of extraordinary dimensions, quality and safety. With a total investment of about US$ 25 million, the development is carried out by RSA Bienes Raíces, in partnership with Crystal Lagoons. The project will have three exclusive residential areas called Sunset Village, Beach Village and Mountain Village, with high standard characteristics.

“The projects that we are launching, Casa del Sol and Karibao, represent the coming of Crystal Lagoons to Ecuador and foresee a quick growth of this innovation multinational in this country. We have consolidated our crystalline lagoons in the most sophisticated touristic zones of the world”, underlines Francisco Matte, Crystal Lagoons’ commercial director.

Meanwhile, Karibao is a project focused on first and second house that Crystal Lagoons is developing with Pronobis consortium, real estate company of Nobid holding, one of the most powerful business groups in Ecuador. With a total investment over US$ 700 million, the complex will be located at Playa city and it will aimed at an important local and international market of Ecuador. The development considers 1.700 apartments in condos, where the main attractive feature will be that all of them will have a sight to the crystalline lagoon that will be at the centre of the project, or to the sea.

The lagoon developed by Crystal Lagoons will have an extension of 7 hectares and as every Crystal Lagoons’ project, people will be able to practice water sports such as kayak, windsurf, scoba diving, swimming, in a safe and controlled environment.

Apart from the lagoon, the complex will count with a Beach Club with Club House, cafeteria and restaurant, conference room and playground, multi-purpose espaces for adults, adolescents and children, swimming pools with water slides and water games, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, mini football, beach volleyball, among others.

“Karibao is a very ambitious project and the crystalline lagoons will mark a milestone in Ecuador, since they made possible residential poles that offer a superior quality of life, with a innovative recreational definition and in zones of great potential”, the executive said.
