Crystal Lagoons® boost sales in Sunterra project8 September, 2021 / News
Land Tejas, a major Texas real estate developer, announced the construction of the first phase of homes on the Sunterra project, which will be centered on a stunning 3.5-acre Crystal Lagoons® amenity. When finished, it will become the fourth largest lagoon in the Houston area.
“The announcement of a lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology has also been an attraction,” said James Henrie, partner at Land Tejas. “Several of these builders have experienced first-hand how the lagoon has driven sales on several of our other projects, including Balmoral, which is now the best-selling development in Houston, according to a mid-year report from RCLCO [Real Estate Consulting ]. “
In this first stage of development, 15 building companies will participate: Adams Homes, Ashton Woods Homes, CastleRock Communities, Chesmar Homes, Colina Homes, DR Horton, Empire Communities, Gehan Homes, Hamilton Thomas Homes, Highland Homes, HistoryMaker Homes, Perry Homes, Pulte Homes, Shea Homes, and Westin Homes.
The ultimate goal of the developer is to create a vibrant community of 2,200 homes around this amenity, with a wide variety of homes and businesses, and in an exclusive section of Houston, Katy Mills, famous for its excellent schools, and its connectivity with the Great Houston area.
Crystal Lagoons® partnered in 2017 with Houston-based Land Tejas to build comprehensive real estate projects focused on crystalline lagoons. In 2018, the first man-made lagoon was inaugurated in the Balmoral community, followed by Windsong Ranch, Lago Mar, and Sierra Vista.
All of these real estate developments have been among the best sellers in the country, in large part because their differentiating element is the huge turquoise lagoons created by Crystal Lagoons®. The Balmoral and Lago Mar projects have won design awards, and consistently rank among the highest-rated master-planned communities in America.
