13 January, 2020 / News

Bintan, an exotic entertainment hub in Indonesia’s Riau Archipelago, which receives visitors from around globe, is home to Crystal Lagoons® first and largest southeast Asia’s crystalline lagoon. Host to the newly inaugurated Natra Bintan, the international hotel’s first tented concept resort amid the island’s tropical greenery is anchored by 100 safari-themed tents featuring private patios and gardens, outdoor rainforest showers and other luxurious comforts overlooking the crystalline lagoon.

Known as Treasure Bay Bintan, the project was recently named one of the Asia’s best places to glamp by Prestige Magazine. The ranking lists exclusive destinations from Cambodia and Thailand to Laos and Indonesia. The water amentity consists of a 15,5-acre crystalline lagoon powered by pioneering sustainable technology, which spans 800 meters in length, and has a maximum depth of 2.5 meters. It functions as a Public Access Lagoon™, also known as PAL™, that can be accessed by the general public via ticketed entry.

The property faces the region’s largest Crystal Lagoons water amenity, where guests can spend their time being entertained by a plethora of enthralling watersports, such as swimming, kayaking, kitesurfing, snorkeling, among others.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
