Crystal Lagoons announces new projects in Egypt worth over US$500 million

The renowned construction website “Constructivo.com” has recently reported on Crystal Lagoons’ new projects in Egypt.

The article says that Crystal Lagoons is consolidating its expansion process in the Middle East and North Africa, in partnership with some of the main real estate developers of the region, foreseeing fast growth in those markets. Up until now, the multinational company totals over 40 projects in different development stages, in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Jordan, Saudi Arabia. The company has recently announced plans for two new projects in Egypt that will join other two developments the company already has in that country.

The projects mentioned above will be called “Swanlake North Coast” and “Golf Porto Marina”, respectively. They will be located at Egypt’s Northern Coast, by the Mediterranean Sea, close to Alexandria, and they will aim at the second-home market. Their crystal clear lagoons and white sand beaches will be their distinguishing features.

Swanlake North Coast is carried out by Crystal Lagoons, in partnership with Hassan Allam Properties, one of Egypt’s main real estate firms. The latter company has specialized in high-end residential projects. Focused on the luxury segment, the residential complex will have three crystal clear lagoons developed by Crystal Lagoons, adding over 15 acres of crystal clear water to the project.

With an investment worth US$ 200 million, the project will have 675 luxurious residential units, a boutique hotel, sports facilities and gastronomic areas, among other characteristics.

As part of a joint venture with the Egyptian holding Amer Group, Crystal Lagoons is also developing Golf Porto Marina, which represents a US$345 million investment. The main amenity of the complex will be a 5.9-acre navigable crystal clear lagoon.

Golf Porto Marina will consist of two thousand residential units that will also have the only 18-holes golf course in Egypt’s northern coast. The latter has been designed by Raymond Hearn, one of the world’s most important golf course designers.

Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
