CNN covers the inauguration of Crystal Lagoons’ first project in Indonesia

The globally renowned international news network CNN has recently highlighted the coming inauguration of Crystal Lagoons’ first project in Indonesia, called “Bintan Treasure Bay”. The opening of this project represents the company’s official arrival to South East Asia.
With a crystal clear lagoon in the dream world island of Bintan in Indonesia –just 48 away from Singapore- Crystal Lagoons will debut in South East Asia, in partnership with the real estate, industrial and financial holding linked to the Wee family, shareholders of landmarks Berhad, one of the main public real estate developers that trades on the Stock Market of Malaysia and that controls United Overseas Bank (UOB Bank), Singapore’s second largest bank, among many other companies.
The luxurious second-home project aims to the growing demand for touristic spaces that Singapore’s population needs, in a country that has seen its development limited by a dramatic scarcity of land. With this development Crystal Lagoons is expanding its global presence in key markets.
The complex considers a 6.3-hectare lagoon, five-stars hotels and 3.000 luxurious homes featuring direct access to the lagoon. The development will represent a estimate investment of US$ 3.000 million and it will feature natural hills in which Greek-style homes will be placed.
A total area of 117.600 cubic meters of water will be required to fill the 6.3-hecatre lagoon, that will be surrounded by 1.400 meters of white sand beaches. Apart from that, it will include two associated amenities: a bungee jumping platform and a cable water ski facility.
Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
