International media reports on new Record-Breaking Crystal Lagoons Project in Egypt
7 October, 2016 / NewsCrystal Lagoons, multinational innovation company, expands its North Africa portfolio with a 38-hectare lagoon in Egypt. Located within phase two of the Stella Di Mare project, in Ain Sokhna, the crystal clear lagoon will be the largest in North Africa.
The second phase of the Stella Di Mare project, under development by Cairo-headquartered REMCO Group, is designed around a clutch of private islands surrounded by crystal lagoons and connected by bridges.
Speaking about the project, Carlos Salas, Crystal Lagoons’ Middle East Regional Director, said: “It is a truly unique residential and leisure environment and further underscores our ability to bring waterfront living to anywhere in the world, even the desert.”
Besides this project, the company has announced two new crystal clear lagoons of a total size of 2.7 hectares within a US$1 billion second home Mousa Coast community located on the Red Sea and launched by Misr Italia Group, one of Egypt’s most prominent real estate developers. Mousa Coast is a community with 2,500 units and plans for 16,000 chalets and five luxury hotels.
Crystal Lagoons now has 17 projects in the Middle East region including the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, India and Egypt.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
