International Property Awards recognizes Crystal Lagoons projects in South Africa and Dubai

Two iconic and successful Crystal Lagoons projects in South Africa and Dubai were awarded at the International Property Awards, a prestigious recognition distinguishing excellence in Real Estate projects worldwide.

Munyaka, in South Africa, and Tilal Al Ghaf, in Dubai, triumphed in the Africa & Arabia’s Bests category, recognizing them for their innovation, design, and sustainability. Munyaka, developed by the multinational in partnership with Balwin Properties, is a landmark project for hosting the largest crystalline lagoon in the country, near Johannesburg, covering an area equivalent to seven rugby fields in the Midrand region. This project was previously recognized at the International Property Awards and has achieved top sales, reaching a milestone by selling 550 apartments in just four days.

Due to its spectacular nature, the President of the Republic of South Africa has praised this ultra-luxury residential complex as a magical place of outstanding urban contribution and, to the global press, “Johannesburg’s first beach.”

On the other hand, Tilal Al Ghaf, developed by Crystal Lagoons in partnership with one of the leading real estate holdings in the Middle East and North Africa, Majid Al Futtaim, has stood out for its commercial success, breaking several records. Sales in the third phase of the development recorded an unprecedented demand, selling 322 homes in just 48 hours, following the resounding success of the initial phases that sold out in seven days.

The central amenity is its 7-hectare crystalline lagoon, surrounded by white sandy beaches developed with Crystal Lagoons® technology. This turquoise body of water will be the main element of the 4,000 residential units that the project encompasses.

Tilal Al Ghaf also features commercial services, a world-renowned school, a nature environment with 18 km of tree-lined trails, and a range of outdoor services.
