13 May, 2019 / News

This incredible engineering feat in North Miami is giving world renowned South Beach a run for its money – a massive seven-acre, man-made swimmable lagoon that emulates the Caribbean waters, created by Crystal Lagoons®. The project was recently highlighted by the The Daily Mail, that published a drone video of the crystalline lagoon.

Known as Laguna Solé, this stunning secret seven-acre man-made beach in Miami, Florida, brings beach lifestyle life to a part of the city that isn’t naturally along the ocean. Built with paradise in mind, the sprawling crystalline lagoon is designed to emulate the colors of the Caribbean waters. In fact, the British daily newspaper describes it the secret beach as the ‘future of the planet’, since the man-made lagoon uses 30 times less water than an 18-hole golf course and 100 times fewer chemicals than a traditional pool thanks to its new low-cost ultrasonic filtration system.
