Vietnam opens its largest Crystal Lagoon® Project

29 April, 2021 / Crystal Lagoons, News

Vietnam will soon own its own piece of a tropical experience when the final touches of Vinhomes Ocean Park’s Crystal Lagoons® project are finished this 2021’s National Reunification Day.

The 6.1-hectare crystalline man-made lagoon will not only bring the idyllic beach lifestyle close to Hanoi, but will also become Vietnam’s largest lagoon recognized by the Vietnam Record Association.

Thanks to Crystal Lagoons® patented technology, this water body will allow Vietnamese visitors to enjoy water sports, outdoor activities and swim in a crystal-clear lagoon while keeping the environment safe with its sustainable energy.

The lagoon will be surrounded by white sand brought from Nha Trang whose beach was listed in the top 50 most beautiful white sand beaches in the world.

Once operational, the lagoon is expected to help create a unique living space for Hanoians and realise the dream of enjoying beach life every day right in the hustle and bustle capital city.

Sustainable technology

The construction costs for a lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons technology are very low, even lower than those of a park of the same size. In addition, operating costs are very low, due to the efficient use of safe additives and energy.

This revolutionary technology also stands out for its low water consumption, as it operates in a closed circuit, needing only to replace the water that is lost through evaporation. In comparison, a 1-hectare lagoon consumes only 50% of the water required for the maintenance of a park of the same size, and a lagoon of average size consumes around 30 times less than a golf course.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
