Crystal Lagoons Wins National Environment Award

Crystal Lagoons has won the 2015’s National Environment Award, organized by the Recyclápolis Foundation, El Mercurio and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with the support of the Chilean Government. The award honors entities and sustainable projects that are committed to safeguarding the environment.
The multinational innovation company received this new award in the “Water” category for its “Sustainable Cooling Technology for Industrial Processes”. The latter consists of a closed-circuit cooling technology that avoids the negative impact provoked by industrial processes in the natural ecosystems.
The technology of Crystal Lagoons has been patent-protected in the U.S. by the “United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)”, through the fast track program for green technologies due to its outstanding contribution to the protection of the environment.
