Crystal Lagoons, To Open Lagoons In Bolivia

It turns out that Santa Cruz, Bolivia, will indeed have beach life. That is, two projects involving Crystal Lagoons® crystalline lagoons -linked to the biochemist and entrepreneur, Fernando Fischmann- are about to open in the highland plateau.

During the summer, the inauguration of two residential real estate complexes that include crystalline lagoons will take place between January and February 2019. Both are located in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. These are the Playa Turquesa and Mar Adentro projects, both developed by local capital investors belonging to the real estate sector, and which include lagoons of 32 and 8.5 acres, respectively.

Playa Turquesa, developed by the firm Indaco and an investment of an estimated US $ 80 million, is an exclusive residential resort of 180 hectares, with 12 apartment buildings and that will have, thanks to the lagoon, an extensive beach -about 45,000 square meters -, surrounded by services, seven club houses, sports areas and shops.

Mar Adentro, with an investment of US $ 60 million, has seven apartment buildings and 300 single-family lots, complemented by infrastructure, such as a club house, waterpark and convention center, among other amenities. The project belongs to the Predial Group, linked to entrepreneurs like Denald Chávez; Oscar Escalante and Mauricio Miranda, from the Orbital technology company; together with Salomón Ribera, from Ribepar.

“Bringing beach life to a Mediterranean nation is a source of pride for Crystal Lagoons, as we are fulfilling people’s dreams, even in places located far from the sea,” says Jean Pierre Juanchich, commercial director for Latin America at Crystal Lagoons.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
