Crystal Lagoons strengthens in Europe

The explosive growth of the innovation multinational Crystal Lagoons Corp., that in the space of seven years grew from a single project to a current portfolio with over 300 initiatives worldwide, at different stages of development, led the firm to strengthen its leadership team, this time to maximize a very relevant market such as Europe.

The opening of a commercial office in Spain, specifically in Barcelona, motivated Crystal Lagoons to name Sebastián Pillado for the position of Regional Director for Europe. In said continent, the innovation multinational already has an office in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Now Spain is added to the current offices the multinational has in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Thailand and the Netherlands. Likewise, by late 2015, the innovation multinational will have 15 offices in total: a second one in the United States (Los Angeles) to service East Coast projects; and others in Canada; Brazil; Mexico; Australia, South Africa; Turkey, Russia and China. This way, the company expects to finish the year with a presence and corporate management in the five continents.

The new regional director has a Business Administration degree from Universidad Católica del Norte and an MBA Macquarie Graduate School of Management from the Macquarie University of Australia. He has over 10 years of experience in international trade, sales, marketing and financial markets.

Previously, Pillado served as Director of ProChile’s Russia Commercial Office, contributing to the growth of Chile’s exports to that country. From his position in Crystal Lagoons, Pillado will lead the development of the company’s growth strategy and its commercial management in the European market, where it is already evaluating several projects.

Currently, the firm has a portfolio of 300 urban, tourist, public and industrial initiatives worldwide, in different stages of development. In addition, its partnered with the world’s premier real estate firms in countries such as the United States, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Jordan, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, and more.
