Crystal Lagoons Has Been Honored at The House of Commons for its Sustainable Cooling Technology

In the iconic Westminster Palace, the main office of the United Kingdom’s Houses of Parliament, Crystal Lagoons has received a new award. The prize recognizes the sustainable impact of the company’s cooling technology for industrial processes.

The Green Apple Award is one of the world’s most important environmental recognitions, sponsored by several British well-reputed environmental organizations, such as the United Kingdom’s Environmental Agency (EA), the British Ecology Building Society, and other environmental health and heritage conservation entities.

The award acknowledges the significant environmental contribution towards the planet made by this sustainable cooling technology that works in closed-circuit environments. When applied to industrial processes, this technology avoids the negative impacts generated by them on natural ecosystems.

The Green Apple’s awarding ceremony took place on November 11th, at the Houses of Parliament. Crystal Lagoons’ technology was chosen among 500 applications. Some of the companies that have been awarded in previous years are Volkswagen, Canon, Alstom, Shell, Toshiba, among others.

It is worth mentioning that Crystal Lagoons’ technology has been patent-protected by United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), through the fast track program for Green Technologies.

This new prize adds to the long list of multiple awards the multinational company has received over the years. Crystal Lagoons currently has 15 offices around the world and boasts a large portfolio of over 400 projects in different stages of development.

Among the most important awards earned by Crystal Lagoons lately one can mention The Stevie® Award – the so called Oscar’s of the Business World – in which the company won both categories, Innovator and Innovation of The Year; The Best New Business Award in United States; ICARE’s Best Entrepreneur Award 2016; The Keys of Miami; The Innovation Prize; The National Environmental Award; Best Reputation in Real Estate Award; and two Guinness World Records for crystal clear lagoons in Egypt and Chile, to mention a few.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
