Crystal Lagoons US, Corp. continues its U.S. expansion, announcing a milestone project in the Orlando market, future home of the tenth Crystal Lagoons on U.S. shores.  In partnership with Blue Development Group, Crystal Lagoons will develop a five-acre crystal-clear lagoon that will be the centerpiece of a multifamily residential community in Kissimmee, Florida.

With more than 300 projects in 60 countries worldwide, Miami-based Crystal Lagoons is revolutionizing the real estate industry with its pioneer technology that enables real estate, hotel and resort developers to build unlimited-size, crystal-clear lagoons anywhere in the world and at very low construction and maintenance costs.

“We look forward to working with Blue Development Group on our tenth project here in the U.S.,” said Uri Man, CEO, Crystal Lagoons US, Corp.  “The demand for the technology has been explosive. Our partners know that our lagoons provide substantial quantifiable benefits, such as increases in pricing, sales velocity, higher rents, and in many cases, the lagoons are being used to transform otherwise non-viable development sites into viable development sites.”

This project, which is slated to begin construction in 2016, will feature an 234 new residential units, beaches, a pedestrian promenade, a beach house, a light house, marina and potentially a hotel component.  The 160 units currently available will undergo extensive renovations to match the new condominiums.  The project also will include a new beach, a portion of which will be open to the public.

Blue Development Group is helmed by Martin Scabone, known for his successful development projects in Argentina.  Also included in the development team is world-famous artist Ruben Santurian, who will lead the architectural and design aesthetic for the community.  Ruben Santurian, known for Trashformers Eco-Art that uses recycled materials for his artwork, was on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris earlier year.  He said he was inspired by the turquoise blue waters and picturesque white sandy beaches of the Crystal Lagoon which will be the “masterpiece” of this project.

International media including National Geographic, Popular Mechanics, Bloomberg and more have celebrated Crystal Lagoons for its innovative technology which was recently honored with The 2015 National Environment Award.

Eco-friendly and sustainable, the company’s technology can use any type of water (fresh, salt, brackish, well water, and more) and has been proven to use:

  • 30 times less water than a typical 18-hole golf course,
  • 50 percent less water than a park of the same size,
  • Up to 100 times fewer chemicals than conventional swimming pool systems,
  • Up to 50 times less energy than conventional filtration systems

This project follows the company’s recent U.S. announcements with high-profile real estate developers including LeFrak, Turnberry Associates, Tavistock Development Group, Metro Development Group and Medallion Homes.

Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
